The redesigned and reimagined villa Casa Minotto (MTO) offers a thoughtful and elegant mixture of traditional St. Barth architecture and spirit with contemporary design and amenities. The owners preserved the traditional “cases” that existed on the grounds and transformed them into beautifully designed bedrooms.
They also preserved many of the plants and trees, giving the property a lush and tropical ambience. They enhanced them with a deck and gardens. Inside, Casa Minotto offers a carefully curated collection of art, artifacts, and design objects. The brand new living area and kitchen are outfitted with extra large sofas, a dining area with a table that seats ten people, and modern kitchen appliances.
Each of the bedrooms occupies its own freestanding bungalow and has an ensuite bathroom and outdoor space. The two master bedrooms are the most spacious, and the third bedroom is still comfortable for an adult couple. The fourth bedroom is more suitable for teenagers or staff, given its small size and low bathroom ceiling.
The deck has a heated pool, chaise lounges for sunbathing, large umbrellas for shade, a cozy sunken sitting area, and a very convenient outside covered terrace in front of the kitchen for dining and lounging.
