Palazzo Rosadi

Palazzo Rosadi is a luxurious Tuscan villa at only 3 km from Monterchi, where Piero della Francesca painted one of his most famous frescoes “La Madonna del Parto” towards the end of the 15 hundreds.
It is consequently an ideal setting for reaching small characteristic villages in Umbria, the splendid Tuscan art cities like Cortona and Arezzo
The Palazzo dates back to 1785 and on the inside one can breath the antique atmosphere as though time has stopped.
Then the Palazzo was enlarged and the bedrooms and lounge rooms were decorated by a famous local artist, Luigi Puletti, a precursor of Liberty style.
The villa, with private swimming pool is surrounded by 25 hectars of land with century old oaks, cypresses and pine trees through which a natural park has been created, so that the guests can admire the flora and fauna typical of this angle of Tuscany.
A one hectar rose garden surrounds the villa and on one side there is the pergola with moscatello and canaiola grapes used for the production of holy wine.
The swimming pool (6 mt by 12 mt and 1.5 mt deep and which has a magnificient panoramic view) is located on an lower level with respect to the villa and is complete with umbrellas, gazebo with table, chairs, sunbeds in aluminium and a shower.
The garden and the swimming pool are lit up at night, ideal for spending Summer evenings, perhaps tasting a good glass of local wine.
Palazzo Rosadi represents the perfect union of tradition and modernity, where you will be spoiled by the attention of the owner, who will do everyting possible to make your holiday unique.
